Any item that has not been paid for is forfeited by the buyer and the item may be put back on the auction block for sale. ALL INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND ADDITIONAL TAXES, IF ANY - NO EXCEPTIONS. Under no circumstances shall Garlic City Auction, or its employees, be held responsible or have any claims made against them for failure of anyone’s internet service or technical or software problems during live auction. Garlic City Auction will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Garlic City Auction is not responsible for any bids placed "accidentally" or by "mistake" from any source. Bidders that wish to be certain their bids are acknowledged should leave their maximum bid up to 24 hours in advance.
Absentee and online bids are accepted. All major credit cards are accepted. Bank wires and cashier’s checks are accepted. For credit card payments, buyer is required to sign Payment Authorization Form that will be provided via email. Merchandise will not be released until payment is cleared, and Authorization form has been completed and returned. All sales exceeding $5000 must be paid by bank wire. Payment is expected within 1-2 business days concluding auction. Credit card payments outside of PayPal are subject to a 5% fee. Any item that has not been paid for is forfeited by the buyer and the item may be put back on the auction block for sale. Any buyer that does not make payment will automatically be blocked from future Garlic City Auction auctions and will be filed with a collection agency and the credit bureau. Garlic City Auction reserves the right to cancel a winning bid and refund or credit to buyer any payments received by Garlic City Auction if merchandise is discovered to be damaged or sustains damage that was not disclosed or discovered before auction.
Garlic City Auction is providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Garlic City Auction or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction, Garlic City Auction will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature (pre bids) and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. Garlic City Auction reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction at any time. If you did not receive an invoice that means you were not the winning bidder.
