Very fine. The barrel retains 98% original blue finish with some light wear on the muzzle and a couple of minor scratches directly behind the rear sight. The receiver retains approximately 80% original vivid case colors. The lever and buttplate have a smooth brownish gray patina. The slightly undersize, lightly sanded buttstock has been sanded and refinished and overall the wood is very good with a few minor dings and light handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
