<b>Artist Biography - Robert Savary </b>
<BR(1920 – 2000)<BR>
<P>Born in a well-known section of Paris called Montmartre, Savary was a very artistic young child. He started his formal training as a fellow in the school called Boulle where he majored in jewelry design. Afterward, he further his study at the School of Fine Arts of Paris where he was recognized by his teachers as an up and coming artist. Over the course of his study, he received 10 awards. Over the years, he developed a reputation of an artist that is very consumed by his surrounding.
<P>From 1941 to 1948, he work was regularly featured at Les Salons Des Moins De 30 Ans. It was here that Savary was discovered by the art world. In 1949, he moved to Spain where his work entered another phase of discovery. His subject matter begins to include the natural beauty of Spain’s seaside. While in Spain, his work was shown at the Gallery Jacques Leuvrais and 182 rue du Faubourg St Honore.
