American artist (1958–1990) whose graffiti-inspired outline drawings of human figures and animals made him one of the most recognizable and ubiquitous figures in the 1980s art scene. Scarce and desirable ALS signed “Keith,” on the inside of greeting card featuring one of his immediately identifiable works, 7 x 9.75 (open), no date. In part: “Thanks for the letter. It was really great and a nice pick-up to the day I was having. It’s really nice to know that there are people that appreciate what I do…If you’d like to visit my studio sometime, call me.” Haring has added two contact numbers. In fine condition, with show-through on the front and back of the card. A fantastically inviting message from the famed artist.
