Hammer price<Br>
The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the absolute discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the lot in dispute.
No "buy" bids or "upon examination" bids or bids which combine two or more lots will be accepted.
In case of equal absentee bids, the lot will be knocked down to the first bid received.
The auctioneer shall have the right to withdraw or divide any lot and to combine two or more lots.
Aste Bolaffi Ambassador is not responsible for any problem arising during or before phone bids.<Br>
Purchase price
The Buyer shall pay a premium of 20% of the hammer price, VAT included.
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
1 - Descriptions and Illustrations
Bolaffi Ambassador Auctions guarantees the authenticity of each lot contained in this catalogue. Posters described as “framed” (in cornice) are unexamined out of frame.
2 – Frames
Some posters are exposed framed during the auction.
The frames of these lots are not included in the selling price and, if requested, they will be charged on a separate invoice. Are considered exceptions those lots specifically described as framed.In this case any amount will not be charged.
3 – Payment
Upon sale of a lot, the Buyer shall at once pay to Bolaffi Ambassador Auctions the Purchase Price, if present in the sale-room, and within seven days from receipt of the invoice, if bidder is absent.
Bolaffi Ambassador Auctions reserves the right to impose a late charge on the total Purchase Price if payment is not made in accordance with these conditions.
If the Buyer fails to pay for any purchased lot within 30 days after receipt of the invoice, Bolaffi Ambassador Auctions shall, without further notice to the Buyer and at its absolute discretion, be entitled to rescind the sale of that or any other lot sold to the Buyer at the same or at any other auction, in addition to other remedies available by law.
Any delay in payment must be agreed and granted, at Bolaffi Ambassador Auctions absolute discretion, prior to the sale.
4 - Forwarding of lots
Upon request and when payment has been made in full by the Buyer, Bolaffi Ambassador Auctions shall have the lots packed and forwarded to the Buyer at his risk and expense. Buyers from abroad have also to pay duty and export taxes. SHIPPING WILL BE MADE WITHIN TWO WEEKS FROM THE DATE OF PAYMENT
5 – Claims
Any claim of any kind must be made promptly by the Buyers attending the sale or within 10 days after the forwarding of the purchased lots by absentee bidders
Claims shall be refused:
a) in case of any lot not described individually;
b) in case of any lot specifically described as “da esaminare” / “to be inspected”
By bidding at auction, whether present in person or through an agent, by written bid, telephone or other means, the Buyer agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Sale.
In case of dispute, the Law Courts of Torino shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
