Up for bid is this hard-to-find 1906/1908 mission style table-desk by Cadillac Cabinet Co. This solid tiger oak table-desk is hard to find. This unique table-desk has a high price value comparable to some Stickley pieces. Table can be used and undisturbed when using the desk. A pull open drawer provides desk space, a non-spillable inkwell and pen groove holder. This lift top desk has original drawer pulls and hardware. There are some ink stains in the desk which adds to its antique charm. Table top with desk (when closed) measures 30" long, 22 1/4" wide and 29" high. When desk is pulled out it, the desk measures 20" long, 16 3/4" wide and 2" deep. Inkwell has a 2" diameter and the pen groove holder is 9 1/2" x 1 1/2". The desk has a bottom shelf which measures 26 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Desk still has most of its original label on the underside of the desk top. Desk is solid oak, is very well made, sturdy, and usable - a great piece of arts and crafts workmanship. Please email with any questions before bidding.
