This is an antique circa 1910 magazine illustration featuring a drawing by artist Penrhyn Stanlaws. SIZE: Approx. 10" x 13 1/4". Penrhyn Stanlaws was born in 1877 in Dundee, Scotland. A prominent illustrator of the 1910s through 1930s, his ladies would show up everywhere from cigarette ads to the covers of Colliers, The Ladies' Home Journal and The Saturday Evening Post.

Excellent condition except for a few light dents, some light tanning along the edges, a couple of small edge tears, and a light bend in the bottom right. The rough left edge is where the page was removed from the magazine.

We reserve the right to reject any bid. The highest bidder will be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt on our part as to the validity of any bid, the auctioneer will have the final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, our sales record is conclusive.

Therefore, when a bidder unilaterally violates the terms and conditions by not paying as agreed, forcing All Things Estate Auctions to use valuable time and effort for non-income producing purposes, a 20% restocking fee, with a minimum fee of $50, shall be applied and collected. A 20% restocking fee also applies to merchandise rejected by the buyer due to reasons other than misrepresentation by All Things Estate Auctions. All sales are final. No lots are sold on approval. Placing a bid is a legally binding obligation. There are no returns or exchanges. By signing up to bid and by bidding, bidder agrees not to violate the payment provisions of these terms and conditions.
