<B>1878-CC S$1 MS66 NGC.</B></I> Once the Bland-Allison Act was in place and the Morgan design duplicated on countless individual coinage dies, production began at Philadelphia, Carson City, and San Francisco, with New Orleans added a year later. The need for large quantities of the coins to meet legislative demands created numerous rarities in other denominations. This example has a sharp impression with frosty luster and bright silver surfaces.
